“This was a great home base for our family time in Jacksonville! The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful while still being walkable and close to everything. We loved exploring this area! The place was clean, comfortable, and cozy and suited our family of four perfectly. No frills, and yet had everything we needed for a comfortable stay that included a night or two in with kiddos and preparing several meals at home. Laundry on-site is a great perk! Dakota was friendly and communicated promptly - a great host!”

“Great Location! Very close to Boone Park and Avondale Shopping. Walking distance for both. Nice neighborhood. Seems very safe. We had no issues. The place was great for almost 100 years old. It has been upgraded many times in phases. The kitchen was most recently done. Very nice. I will recommend for other friends and family.”

“Super cute home and fantastic location! The first night we stayed we were able to walk just a short distance through the beautiful neighborhood to a really nice seafood restaurant and a super nice wine bar. This area is extremely safe and definitely one of the crown jewel neighborhoods of Jacksonville. Our daughter is about to relocate to Jacksonville for work and it was really nice to get to experience staying in the area she is hoping to find a home. There was nothing that we needed to buy for our stay. coffee, tea, utensils, cookware were provided in the home. I would definitely stay again and would highly recommend.”

“I don’t even know where to begin with our stay!! Dakota was in communication weeks before our stay to ensure that we had a wonderful time with our kids in between my trips to Mayo. He knew so much about the city and was so responsive!! The place was beautiful and within walking distance to so much! We frequently visited bold bean coffee which was a little over a mile away and loved riding around just looking at the houses. Dakota takes his role as a host very seriously. He is so passionate about making sure his guests have an experience to remember. We rate our stay 10 out of 5 stars. We made memories we will remember forever. So blessed!”

“Fantastic! Awesome, open, airy and beautifully redone home. Lovely enclosed front porch. House had everything we needed. Comfy beds! Coffee and sugar provided so we were ready to go each morning. Very walkable. We walked to the park/playground and to restaurants. Clean, spacious and perfect location.”

“I am a Jacksonville native and knew this was the area I wanted to stay in while visiting with family- Dakotas rental was very clean and kid-friendly. Having a washer/dryer available as well as a new dishwasher and free coffee available really helped the stay feel like vacation for us. The neighborhood was very quiet and great walking distance to the avondale shops and playground. I would stay here again :)”

“This home is a cute little spot in Avondale. The neighborhood is pleasant and peaceful, with some great restaurants within walking distance. The home itself is in great condition and seems to have been recently remodeled. One bedroom had a king bed, which is always a bonus to find in a property. The heat went out during our stay, and Dakota was extremely responsive and sent someone out first thing the next morning to replace the unit. If we visit the area again, we'd gladly return to this home.”
